So this year I had the task of doing the Christmas cake but also the ham for Christmas dinner!! It was the first time I had ever attempted to make any meat for Chrissymas and my mum and dad usually set the bar pretty high! I followed a recipe from ‘Phil and Kirsties perfect Christmas’ and it was brilliant!! I cannot begin to describe how gorgeous the house smelt whilst it was cooking; it took me back to the days growing up when mum and dad were cooking the meat on Christmas eve and Christmas morning, such a special memory!!
