Big news guys!! Me and hubs have ordered our kitchen!!! We have been wanting to renovate the kitchen for some years now; the rest of the house is more or less all done and the last two major rooms to do are the kitchen and attic….and finally we are now in a position to get them looking as amazing as we knew they could be one day!  Hopefully in 8 weeks the kitchen will be delivered and fitted more or less the same time (fingers crossed!) and we will be rocking!!  It’s been so exciting choosing all our bits and bobs and even more exciting that it’s actually happening!! I will keep you posted on the renovation as this is going to have an impact on my cakes and I will be out of action for a while until we can get it all finished…but I know it will be worth it!! xx

Wibsy Park Chapel are the champions!!! The hubs and his cricket team won their league last year so I thought they deserved a cake worthy of champions…and here it is!!!  Obviously it had to be cricket theme in honour of the evening…Congratulations guys!! x

So this year I had the task of doing the Christmas cake but also the ham for Christmas dinner!! It was the first time I had ever attempted to make any meat for Chrissymas and my mum and dad usually set the bar pretty high!  I followed a recipe from ‘Phil and Kirsties  perfect Christmas’ and it was brilliant!! I cannot begin to describe how gorgeous the house smelt whilst it was cooking;  it took me back to the days growing up when mum and dad were cooking the meat on Christmas eve and Christmas morning, such a special memory!! This year was my dads 65th birthday and retirement  so I made an extra special sub cake for him to celebrate!! Dad was in the Royal Navy and served on the HMS Reso so I did a little replica for him with glittery waves!!  My little sis also had her bday the day after dads so Jadey got a cake too!! Love you both to bits! xxx

Now then everybody, first of all let me apologise for not posting in almost a year…my bad! Secondly I hope you all had a gorgeous fest of festivities this Christmas!!   Things have been slightly crazy busy this end hence no time to fill you all in with lovely cakes!!  As some of you may now or may not know, I do my cakes alongside my full time job and fit orders in when ever I have the time;…however me and hubs have been concentrating on getting our lovely house finished which unfortunately takes a lot of time too, hence the blog silence!!! Hopefully Ill have more time to update you this year fingers crossed!!  xx

80′s cartoons are the best..!.. and this little beauty was ordered by Sara for her brother Jamie’s 30th!  I’m hoping to do my 30th birthday cake based on the 80′s too so watch out for more details and hopefully some piccies!! xx

This snazzy little number was an order for Steve for his 40th Birthday.  Steve’s first car was a bright orange Beetle, so his family wanted a replica to celebrate his special day- complete with personalised number plate!!  Happy Beetles!! x

This gorgeous wedding cake was for my friend Annabelle who recently got married in Oz.  I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the pics and Annabelle and Tom had an amazing day!  This vintage inspired cake was for their UK wedding reception,  Congratulations sweethearts love and luck always! xx

This very sparkly cake was for Suki’s 21st Birthday….Inspired by Vivienne westwood jewellry this cake had it all- sparkle, silver beading, glitter and lots of gorgeous colours!!  My beautiful sister has a similar necklace that we got her for her 21st so this was a lovely cake to make!  I especially love any excuse to use tons of sparkle and glitter!  xx
