Today was really exciting for me as today was the day I took my cake displays to Ava Rose Hamilton in Silsden!! It was brilliant to see the cakes in such a fabulous shop window…. If you are passing that way and fancy taking a peek they will be displayed over the next few Christmas weeks 🙂
In October I had the absolute pleasure of making a 3D giraffe cake for a friend Sarah’s 21st Birthday. Sarah loves Giraffes….. so a Giraffe Birthday cake was just the ticket! The Giraffe took 16 hours to bring to life and I loved every minute, my favourite part was adding his eyelashes! Very pretty! hehe! After a tense drive to the party Gerry arrived in one piece and took pride of place at the party, Happy Giraffes.
Italian BMT or chocolate Birthday cake? Argh my mind has gone crazy! hehhehe!! That was the reaction from Mark when I gave him his Birthday cake this month! It was absolutely brilliant to do, especially the little chillis and the salami. I love making cakes that make people happy!! Smiles and cakes…ahhhh 🙂

Here is a sneak peek at our Christmas biscuit collection with plenty of sparkle to glitz us up for the festive season! 🙂 Woo! They come in three yum flavours: Chocolate, vanilla and ginger; All biscuits can be personalised if you would like to give them as a gift and can have ribbon added also. The gingerbread men can even be iced with colours of your choice for their hair and eye colour and the colour of their suits so you can have fun designing your very own ginger men whether he be dark and handsome or blonde and cute! xxx
Here is my most recent cake challenge….The Empire State Building! It was a gorgeous cake to design and I’am really pleased with how it turned out, hope you like it 🙂
So Christmas is nearly upon us once again! I absolutely love it and can’t wait to put my tree up! It’s the perfect excuse for glitter and sparkles so I’m really looking forward to doing my Christmas biscuit collection this year. It will include: christmas wreaths, sparkly baubles, candy canes, glittery stars, gingerbread men, christmas puddings, christmas crackers, christmas presents and christmas cards!! 🙂
Today I’ve been preparing for my window display for Ava Rose Hamilton in Silsden, an absolutely amazing wedding dress shop where I bought my wedding dress. Ava Rose are having a Christmas window display and I have the amazing job of doing the cake displays for their window. I really can’t wait to show the girls at the shop the cakes and to see them in their window!! I’m so excited…the shop is absolutely gorgeous so I feel so lucky to be able to be a part of their fantastic festivities. Watch this space for pics 🙂
