Fifi and the three little pigs

This little star was a joint  Birthday cake for my gorgeous nieces Georgia and Emily, Emily wanted a Fifi cake and Georgia the story of the three little pigs…so here is what was born!  There were three pigs on the cake each with their own little part of the story here you can see the pig with the straw and the other little pig with his sticks for his house…the other little pig had bricks to build his house with…oo and not forgetting the wolf!  I was really pleased with the results… joint cakes are always a great challenge!  Hope you all enjoy! xx

Jenny Packham weekend

Last week the amazing wedding dress shop Ava Rose ordered some cupcakes for their Jenny Packham weekend.  It was due to be a busy couple of days, so cupcakes with pretty flowers and gorgeous colours were the theme for such a wonderful dress designer weekend.  I nearly bought a Jenny Packham dress for my wedding, so I can definitely say the dresses are absolutely, stunningly beautiful.  I hope you all enjoyed the cakes girls  🙂

Ellis’ Birthday cake

I had the pleasure of doing Ellis’ 9th Birthday cake earlier this year…a brilliant football themed cake!  The little models were fab to do especially the spikey hair!

Jellybean’s 21st Birthday cake

Long, Long time no speak…

Hi guys!  It’s been so long since my last post…I can’t believe we are nearly in May!  I’ve been a busy cake bee recently, so I thought I better keep you up to date with all things cake.  The most important new news is that I will be on holiday from cake from 1st May until 21st June as I am booked up, but am also taking three weeks off to get married and travel on my honeymoon!  As soon as I am back it will be full cake ahead with some exciting new developments and cake news to share.  If you would like to get in touch for cake queries and bookings in June please feel free to drop me line.  Lots love Jo xxx

Happy 2010!

Happy New Year everyone!!  Hope you had a great Christmas and New Years Eve!  Well here it is the big 2010 – the year I get married and lots of exciting new projects for jojos cakes!  I had an order for a delorean cake over Christmas (thanks to Kate for ordering this one it was lots of fun!)…..whilst the snow was falling and the Back to the Future trilogy was playing in the background amongst a sea of fairy lights, here is what was created!

Cullingworth Village Hall Pre school Christmas Party!

Today I was at Cullingworth Village Hall for my lovely friend Carol’s gorgeous little boy – Joseph’s Pre school Christmas get together.  Carol and I ran the cake stall, me with half a stall; and some generously donated cakes from other helpers making up the other half!   The pictures here are of my half-a-stall.  It was a lovely day especially as seen as all the children got a chance to see Santa.  The stall looked lovely and we manged to meet some lovely people who enjoyed the cakes.  Thank you again to Carol who secured the stall for me and for her amazing PR skills! 😉 xx

Window display pictures

This weekend I was at Ava Rose Hamilton taking  my biscuits and buns for their Christmas Extravaganza weekend, where Brides were lucky enough to enjoy Classic Christmas songs and lovely mulled wine.   Whilst I was there I managed to get some pictures from the window display I did last week, Thank you again to Paula and the girls 🙂
