Well it was my gorgeous hubby’s birthday back in November, and as I was heavily pregnant I didn’t get chance to do a super dooper cake for him but I did just about manage to rustle up some full English breakfast cupcakes 🙂 Sausage, bacon and egg were the order of the day! Fun cakes, fun times 🙂
Scrolling back through a mass of images I found the Halloween themed birthday cake I made for our friends’ little girl Abi! It feels so long ago I did this one as the past few months have been a haze of baby brain and time flying by so fast I feel I barely got to say hello to it 🙂 This was a fab cake to do, pumpkin and spider inspired I heard the birthday girl loved it 😀 = happy cake making me xx
Well, our little gorgeous bean is finally here with us!! I know I’m biased but she really is amazing. She made quite a dramatic arrival to come and meet us….. But that’s a whole separate post which I will share some day (or on a different blog I may be writing.) I know it’s taken me a while to keep you updated but as you can imagine our time has been otherwise lavished on this little girl! She really has changed our lives and we love her more than anything (the sleepless nights not so much, hehe) but they are worth it xx As you may have gathered I won’t be taking on any cake orders for a while until things calm down a little and to enjoy my bubs. However I’ll try and keep you updated on all news cake or baby related! Xx Cake and love to you all x
I’ve been getting a bit excited…scrap that…alot excited with bubs’ ever closer arrival…things have been bought and we are getting there with all the essentials. It is so amazing buying so many beautiful things for little bubs, including some beautiful towels and little ducks as above for my little bun to enjoy!! Cannot wait!! xxx
I was very lucky last weekend to have the pleasure of making Jody and Dave’s wedding cake and favours for their beautiful wedding at Whiteley Hall in Sheffield. They went with an all chocolate sponge, covered in white chocolate with pink gerberas, daisies and roses, with gingerbread brides and grooms for favours….perfect 🙂 Congratulations darlings xxx
One of my lovely customers David ordered this little whimsy, a cake for his friend Cath, this time with a little bottle of brandy on top…Cath has recently become a nana of two so Dave wanted to have a tongue in cheek cake idea for her…revitilising brandy for when the grandchildren have been over 🙂 A brilliant fun cake to do for a lovely set of cake friends 🙂 xxx
Well you lovely lot we have some very exciting news!! Me and hubs are having our very own little bun in the oven. Due to be fully baked on 4th Jan, which means I am now 30 weeks and time is flying!! I truly cannot wait for our little bundle to arrive, excited is an understatement!! Which means the nursery will be the next project to let you all know about….!! Wooppee!! xx Buns in the oven and buns on my plate…happy me xxxx

Another choccy cake, woo!! This one was an order from my little sister Jade for her boyfriend Adam who happens to play basketball 🙂 A chocolate cake covered in white chocolate and white chocolate details…Adams numbers are 11 and 22 so of course these were added 🙂 with sprinkles 🙂 Cake, birthdays and lovely people equals happy me 🙂 xxxx
