Hello darlings, so I thought I’d just let you know what is happening with the kitchen….Everything is progressing nicely and we are slowly getting there with the completion! Unfortunately the budget and the finish date have gone over where we estimated so I’m still unable to do cakes at the moment but hopefully we will be finished by the end of March 🙂 I will keep you updated re pictures and when I am back up and running with the cake orders! woo! x

Hello my cake pops..!!! OK so… some more cake news is a foot for jojos cakes!! I have been asked to attend a very special wedding fair which I will be posting details of very soon. Wooppee! This spurred me on to go through some old photos again and I came across another one of my Giraffe cakes and had to add him on my blog 🙂 Happy cake days xx
Big news guys!! Me and hubs have ordered our kitchen!!! We have been wanting to renovate the kitchen for some years now; the rest of the house is more or less all done and the last two major rooms to do are the kitchen and attic….and finally we are now in a position to get them looking as amazing as we knew they could be one day! Hopefully in 8 weeks the kitchen will be delivered and fitted more or less the same time (fingers crossed!) and we will be rocking!! It’s been so exciting choosing all our bits and bobs and even more exciting that it’s actually happening!! I will keep you posted on the renovation as this is going to have an impact on my cakes and I will be out of action for a while until we can get it all finished…but I know it will be worth it!! xx
So this year I had the task of doing the Christmas cake but also the ham for Christmas dinner!! It was the first time I had ever attempted to make any meat for Chrissymas and my mum and dad usually set the bar pretty high! I followed a recipe from ‘Phil and Kirsties perfect Christmas’ and it was brilliant!! I cannot begin to describe how gorgeous the house smelt whilst it was cooking; it took me back to the days growing up when mum and dad were cooking the meat on Christmas eve and Christmas morning, such a special memory!! Hope you all had an amazing one xxxx
My wonderful dad and little sisters birthday cakes!!
Published January 8, 2012 Uncategorized Leave a CommentThis year was my dads 65th birthday and retirement so I made an extra special sub cake for him to celebrate!! Dad was in the Royal Navy and served on the HMS Reso so I did a little replica for him with glittery waves!! My little sis also had her bday the day after dads so Jadey got a cake too!! Love you both to bits! xxx
Ok so I bet you’re wondering what I’ve been up to cake wise, and as there have been quite a few orders I thought I would add a selection all at once for you all to see, as individual blogs of each one would probably have me writing all night hehehe! So here you go, thank you to everyone who ordered a cake and I hope you enjoy looking at the pics as much as I enjoyed making the cakes for such lovely people!!
Now then everybody, first of all let me apologise for not posting in almost a year…my bad! Secondly I hope you all had a gorgeous fest of festivities this Christmas!! Things have been slightly crazy busy this end hence no time to fill you all in with lovely cakes!! As some of you may now or may not know, I do my cakes alongside my full time job and fit orders in when ever I have the time;…however me and hubs have been concentrating on getting our lovely house finished which unfortunately takes a lot of time too, hence the blog silence!!! Hopefully Ill have more time to update you this year fingers crossed!! xx
