Rainbow cupcakes

These little starlets were an order from ‘Scoops’ ice cream parlour for a special little girl’s Birthday who has been recovering from being very poorly.  It was my absolute pleasure to say yes to creating these cupcakes for such a special occasion, the pink butterfly and sparkly glitter cupcake was of course the Birthday girl’s!  Cupcakes and love xx

Giraffe tail anyone?

Remember Gerry the Giraffe?..Ok so it has been 1 year since I created him for my friend Sarah; so another cake was in order to celebrate Sarah’s birthday!!  So.. this creation was born, not quite a full giraffe but a little token to give to Sarah, a cake covered in giraffe spots and a lovely swishy tail!  Happy Birthday again hon! xxx

Pretty in pink

This pretty wedding cake was created for the Ava Rose catwalk event at the Cavendish Pavillion; yet again Ava Rose were fantastic and allowed me to showcase my cakes on my very own table.  This cake was the centre piece, a gorgeous pale pink three-tiered anemone cake.  Along with the cake I displayed little cupcakes wrapped in dotty paper and some cake lollipops which proved very popular and made me feel very lucky to be able to create cakes people enjoy!

Ava Rose catwalk show!

This Sunday was the catwalk event for Ava Rose Hamilton at the Cavendish Pavillion at Bolton abbey!… I’m so pleased to say the  event was absolutely brilliant!!  The ‘real’ brides I met (we’re all pictured above) were absolutely fantastic and I’m so pleased I got a chance to meet such a lovely group of people.  We all had a blast sharing wedding stories and were so happy to be able to wear our wedding dresses again!  The event went so smoothly and Rebecca, all the girls at Ava Rose Hamilton and all the models did an amazing job at organising/contributing to such a fab catwalk.  The brides were even lucky enough to get a little pressie from Ava Rose which we weren’t expecting…some gorgeous ‘cupcake’ soaps, which smell and look divine!  Thank you again to Ava Rose for letting us all be a part of such a fab night!

‘Real brides’ at Bolton Abbey’s Cavendish Pavillion

So guys another fantastic adventure awaits me and jojos next weekend!  Ava Rose Hamilton have asked me to be a part of a wedding fair catwalk on Sunday 3rd October at the Cavendish Pavillion in Bolton Abbey.  Ava Rose are doing a feature on real brides wearing their own wedding dresses ;(see my wedding dress above) and I’m lucky enough to be one of 8 brides who have bought their dress from this fabulous shop who get to model it next weekend!  Not only will I be on the runway but I will have a little table with a selection of cakes on too for all the brides to enjoy!  I’m so grateful to Ava Rose and really excited, if you’re popping along I hope to see you there! xxx

Ava Rose Ian Stewart weekend

This weekend I had the pleasure of making some more cupcakes for Ava Rose Hamilton, the wedding dress shop in Silsden.    I have written about the dress shop before and how amazing it is…I dropped off these little treasures this morning and glimpsed some of their new dresses in the window and all I can say is wow!  They were truly gorgeous…they made me want to get married all over again!-(but that doesn’t take much) 🙂  The cupcakes were a mix of dark chocolate sponge and vanilla with jam; yum! Buns and love xx

Weddings at Malmaison Leeds

Something amazing happened a few weeks ago….I had a call from Malmaison Hotel in Leeds asking if I could possibly help create a wedding cake for a photo shoot for their new wedding brochure….  My answer was of course yes!  Malmaison in Leeds holds truly amazing memories for me as it is where I had my wedding reception this year.  I cannot praise Malmaison enough..the setting, the staff and the whole experience was just perfect.  The food and drink were delicious, and the service impeccable.  All the staff made me and my family feel so special  and helped create the most wonderful day for all of us.
